Half Marathon
Steve and I ran a half marathon yesterday. It wasn't fun. I was sick with a horribly sore throat. It was cold and raining the entire time. We were wet before the race even started. By the end of the race we were entirely soaked. I wore these stupid pants that kept falling down over and over again. The whole thing was rotten. But I am proud of us for doing it despite all of that. Steve impressed me because he hardly trained for it and managed to finish in 2:30. I was at 2:11.

Eden YW Recognition
Today in church Eden was awarded her Young Womanhood Recognition Award! See her wearing her necklace above? I also recieved the Honor Bee. It was fun working on these together. She was very excited because she worked extremely hard earning this. It took her more than a hundred hours to do. I haven't known a young woman to earn it so young and I am so proud of her. She did many hours of service with a good attitude and energy. She read the Book of Mormon and completed many Value Experiences. She is such a great girl!
