Pro Photos of Dance Competition - Hana
Hana performed a lyrical solo to "If I Aint Got You" by James Bay. She was great! And I loved the photos!
Dance Competition
Competition was a two day event. On Saturday morning Charity and Payton competed their jazz duo in the Junior Division. They got 4th place and a couple of cute special awards. I felt like that 4th place was pretty deserved. They did a good job but really rushed their timing. But it was a tough competition and we were pretty pleased with the result.
Hana with Makayla in the dressing room. A couple of our friends, Makayla and Savannah competed too and we were there to support them.
On Sunday night Hana competed her lyrical solo in the teen division. I really thought she was going to place probably 3/4th, but she ended up not placing. So that was a little bit of a surprise. She did pretty well though and we were very proud of her!

Andy Draws
Andy has not really been the art interested type. He has had a lot of years of a lot of pain and suffering with his childhood trauma. But he has had what seems to be an emotional breakthrough recently. And this drawing is one kind of sweet example of that. I wont go into detail about his explaination of the drawing, but I was touched. But basically his heart is changing. In a good way.

Library
The other day we went to the library to see a piece of artwork that Charity had displayed. She was so excited that her art teacher selected her art to be displayed there!
And here she is with said artwork.
Just playing around the kid's section of the library.

Our weekend
Becca performed with the teen group of the Austin Flute Society in Austin. It was an amazing performance! We were so proud!
After the performance, a famous flutist came in to teach a Master Class. And we were able to watch! Steve and I learned a lot about the flute from this and gained a greater appreciation for the skill it takes to play it correctly. This flutist was Jim Walker.
Then we went out to lunch to celebrate :)
During this time, Hana was babysitting and sent me these photos of their fun together. Paisley was over too.
On Sunday Steve and I went to visit Andy in San Marcos and also went out to lunch where we stumbled upon this awesome alley.
Andy Jonah came home for a visit and family dinner! It was his first time home since leaving on Feb. 14! So the kids had really missed him!
