Making Friends
We love it here! The other night we invited a bunch of neighbors over for a social. We got a good turnout and everyone was so kind and friendly! The kids made some friends and so did the adults. Our neighbors have been wonderful! I wish I had photos to put up of that event but was too busy trying to play hostess and socialize to even think about it.
But today I got some photos of a couple of the kid's new friends. These kids have really clicked with mine and they are great kids. We love them.

This is on the walk to the pool.

Date night in Georgetown
Friday night we had a fun date night. We let Jonah come along because we knew it was up his alley.

On Friday nights in Georgetown they have free concerts on the Square. Many show up with camping chairs and hang out for the night.

The concert was a guy performing a lot of oldies and classic rock and pop. He was pretty fantastic.
And Jonah being such the music fanatic, we knew he'd love it.

He did.

I love the funny expressions he made for the photos. He has been doing really great and enjoying life these days.

Afterwards, we walked around the square and enjoyed seeing all the shops and happenings. There was no less than 4 other places having free live music. Austin is dubbed the "live music capital of the world" and Georgetown seems to follow suite.

That is the courthouse building behind my men.

Old family photos this Father's Day
I enjoyed these photos put up on Facebook for Father's Day. Hopefully I caption these correctly.

Market Day
Today for family fun day we went to "Market Day" on the Square. The Square is the center of downtown Georgetown with all it's shops, restaurants, and charm. On Market day, they close down the Square to cars and have a bunch of fun vendors out. We all really enjoyed it. I only thought to get photos during our time with this clown. We did some walking around and shopping and then to lunch at Burger University. Lots of fun.
