Another day, another park, with Paisley this time.

Last week Steve and I were invited to an overnight date with the Findleys at their timeshare about an hour away. We had the best time and just love these friends of our so very much!

Spring Break

Tim, Brenda and Jesse came to town last week during our kid's Spring Break. And I only got this photo. This was when we took the younger kids to Chuck E. Cheese's. We did a lot of relaxing, eating, watching TV, and talking. It was a nice few days. The kids loved having family in town! Especially Charity and Sam and Jesse did a lot of playing!

The day after Tim and Brenda left, I flew to California for a mom and sister's trip. But when I arrived in San Jose, I found out that mom, Anna and Emily were unable to fly out due to a lot of airline travel issues with weather and Spring break, and grounded airplanes due to some technical malfunctions causing a few planes to crash. So I was there the first night alone. I stayed in our hotel that Anna had booked for us. The next day Molly drove down and met me in Santa Cruz where our next hotel was. We walked around, talked, ate, and relaxed too. It was so nice! The next day we drove up to Big Sur and went to a party at the beach with some of their friends, and then Molly took me horseback riding on their ridge at sunset. It was pretty incredible. But again, no photos. The last day I just drove back to San Jose, and flew home! So overall it was a nice break.

Hana had her first ever track meet on Thursday. She was in only one event, the 400. She was super nervous and did not place. But we were still proud of her for doing it!

Heather’s birthday dinner

We went to Cheesecake Factory to celebrate Heather’s bday. Which is the place we went the first night we went on a double date together a couple of years back. Oh how we love these dear friends of ours!

LP Concert

Last night me, Nicole and Sheyenne got to go down to Austin and see LP perform.  It was an AMAZING concert and time. I love these ladies sooo much. The dearest friends a girl could have really.

GDP & School Photos

Some of my students from our Georgetown Dance Project community service classes performed at the Boys and Girls Club annual banquet. They did a great job and were so cute and had so much fun. I was proud of them.

The other night Charity and Paisley went to their school dance. And they wanted to go all out on the beauty :) Hair makeup, whole 9 yards. And they sure looked cute!

February

Celeste on her 20th birthday! This age is a big one to us, and it is hard to believe she is the age I was when I gave birth to her!
 Becca wanted to make her cake, and it didn't turn out quite as envisioned. ;) But it was still much appreciated. Celeste had to take 4/5 tests on her birthday and attend school and really insisted she didn't really want anyone making a fuss over her or getting her gifts. But we managed to celebrate a little. She is such a wonderful person and we could not be more proud or grateful for her. 
She has been going to school and working as many hours as she can to save for an incredible trip she has planned for this Summer. Her and her cousin Jack are going to be touring Europe for several weeks!

Steve and I are so grateful to have such an amazing group of friends here. We all went out and we celebrated Dario's birthday. Such a great night!

It has been a difficult time lately with our teen boys. After confiding in some of our friends about it, they left this at my work one night. We could not ask for better friends.

Steve took the older boys down to The Contemporary in Austin to look around. They have some cool pieces there!

Out with friends

Steve and I got to go out one night last week with a great group of friends. These guys were a lot of fun.


We also just got back from a little staycation with the Alvarez's and Vickery's. We just rented this Airbnb in Round Rock for one night and arranged childcare for our kids while we had a fun and relaxing night. This was a bday celebration for Steve too. Each couple had their own bedroom and the house was so cute and comfortable. We meant to get a photo of all of us, but we forgot.
