Sam’s 10th bday

Austin Trip

Becca and I took a weekend trip to Austin to see the kids there.

Tickets were super cheap, so we could not pass it up!



Anna and Eden picked us up from the airport and Eden brought her kitten.

Our first morning we had breakfast at my hotel.







We also hung out at Anna and Eden’s apartments.

Derek gave me a great tarot reading!

At Amy’s house. She is the only friend I saw while there.

Amy and I stayed the 2nd two nights together at “our place,” the cabin in the woods.

We had the best time together.



The kids came and hung out at the cabin too.

Celebrating Sam’s 10th birthday

He just wanted to go to John’s Incredible Ice Cream and then out to ice cream.






He also decided to save all of his birthday money!

So it was a pretty fun and low key day.

Jaimi

After our 5th time meeting up for something, I finally got a photo with one of my favorite new friends. 

Jaimi was an instant friend click honestly. We met at a Starbucks on August 1st for the first time in person, after meeting on the Nextdoor app.

She is super comfortable to be around and talk with. We are like minded in the most important ways. She is fun, good, and very skilled and smart. I really admire her, enjoy having her in my life, and I am excited for more good times ahead.

Charity starts 6th & Sam starts 4th grade
