Andy's 14th Birthday
Andy had an epic birthday. He turned 14, and since we adopted him when he was 9, he has only had 5 birthdays. And he has never had a party. I asked him what he wanted to do this year and he said "just stay home and watch movies".
I decided that wouldn't do. So with the help of my friend Kelly who knows EVERYONE, we planned a surprise party for him.
The day started with Andy and Joe, Junior and JoJo going to the movies. Then the whole family went and we all saw another movie. Actually Cessie stayed home and got the house ready for the party. After the party we went to the Texas Museum of Science and Technology.
When we got home, the house was all decorated and Andy had a large group of friends there to surprise him. He was so happy. It was awesome.
Guests were: Junior, Joe, JoJo, Ryden, Park, Emarion, Carlos, Kaylup, Aaron, Isaiah, McKenely, Dillon, and Sevy.
Andy said it was his best birthday.

Caleb's Wedding
Last week Caleb and his bride Kassidy got married! They got married in Orlando, so Steve and I just flew there on Friday and came home on Saturday.
My parents were there and this was my first time seeing them in almost two years.

The next day Steve and I did a quick trip to Disney World Magic Kingdom! The crowds were pretty heavy and that put a damper on it. And I could not walk well or long, so Steve had to push me around in a wheel chair most of the time. But it was really nice getting to spend this time together and get a break from all our work.
