Garey Park & Eden Posing

Georgetown hosted a fun party to celebrate the opening of the new 500 acre park in town. We had to go check it out.

Jonah being a sweet big brother.

I noticed how cute Eden looked yesterday and wanted to get some photos. She cut her hair herself while we were in Alaska. It had gotten so long!

Andy, as always has still been playing basketball. His team participated in another tournament over the weekend. They didn't win this time and took some tough losses.

I have spent a lot of time working on Georgetown Dance Project lately. This week was our very first official Georgetown Dance Project Ballet class for these four dancers at our garage studio! It was a lot of fun! And I got such a kick out of this meme.

Sam had his tonsils and adenoids removed on June 5th. The ENT said that they were some of the largest he had ever seen! It was obstructing his airway quite a bit and he was experiencing a lot of snoring and we think apnea even. Also, the doctor said he was not using his nose to breathe because of the size of the adenoids. So the doctor really felt it was medically necessary. It was scary for me more than him, but he got through just fine. He was super brave and the doctors and nurses really loved him and kept commenting on what a sweet boy he was.

Recovering at home.

Seattle

In Seattle, we did not rent a car as we were only going to be there a few hours. So we just took Lyft rides around. This is Steve at the "Troll Under The Bridge".
And him being a gentleman and insisting on carrying both of our suitcases.

This was a pretty little park on the waterfront, with a nice view of the skyline, including the Space Needle.

In this area of town was an interesting statue of Lenin. Initially we thought it was weird to have this statue on the streets of Seattle. But I thought it was an interesting touch to put the "blood" on his hands.

And amazing little vegetarian restaurant we really liked. Called Calm Hearts Nest I believe.

Victoria Part 4

There were at least a few peacocks around. We could hear them calling each other. The call is loud! This one came right up to us and kept prancing around like it owned the place.

On the drive back to the ship in the taxi.

This coast guard type boat had to escort us out of the harbor.

Victoria Part 3

Above, there were some Red Poppy's there! You don't see these too often and they are Georgetown Texas, town flower. We even have a festival every year called the "Poppy Festival".

Below, that little spot in the sky was a large hummingbird we enjoyed watching for a while.

The actual castle. It is now a University. But it is also where they have filmed a lot of movies/tv shows. In fact, the security guard said they were getting ready to film a new Disney movie there.

Victoria Part 2

This was such a unique tree!

Check out that natural, sanded look, bark!

And the bark peels off the tree like dead skin.
