All kinds of every day happenings

Our car got broken into in the middle of the day. They stole Eden’s backpack that had her laptop, DS, games, some journals and art supplies, and her checkbook. The next day they tried to cash a $1000 check with her checkbook.
It was all upsetting!

But these notes I keep seeing written on the fridge make me happy. Done by Becca and Charity.

Sam’s cute school assignment.

I am gonna translate:
“Me and my family went to a building in a park. We went to have a picnic so we tried lighting a fire because we had shrimp that were cold.”

“Then we walked around and we saw a bamboo forest. It was crazy! There was bamboo everywhere! We started taking bamboo for home.”

“We took tons of bamboo it was cool then we started heading home. Once we got home we made bamboo things of all sorts. It was great.”

Bamboo stuff.

And painting for Charity.

Anna also came over to visit the other day.
As she is not isolating as we are, due to her work, she wore a mask.

Hana and Charity snuggling.

Charity ready to play outside in her Christmas pj’s and heels.

When Steve does yoga, he will sometimes get warm and take off his top. Which I dont mind at all.

He is looking and feeling good these days and attributes it to his almost daily yoga practice that he loves.

Outside photos these days

Steve and I on a nature date.

He is a pro rock skipper.

We often see Bunnies in our yard.
And these vultures love to hang out here. Just behind our house.

Love all the wildflowers around these days.
Squirrel on my walk.

Some of the kids enjoying nature too.

Charity likes modeling. So she gets lots of photos.

Sam loves his bike.

Andy’s 18th Birthday

A Covid birthday is a bummer, but we tried to make the best of it.
He got new clothes for his birthday, and a little money.
And I made four pumpkin pies, which are his favorite.
I also picked up Chick-Fil-A for the family and Eden got movie goodies.
We all ate our dinner and watched the new Pixar movie together. It was called Onward, which Andy had picked it out.
He was a good sport, and acted happy and grateful about it all.

Our week

Sam doing a school assignment.
Charity after she dyed her hair (and skin inadvertently) with Kool-Aid.
Steve being a smokeshow of a yogi, as we practiced together the other day.
Sam with his doggo.
Me trying to stay positive day on a down day.
Sam worked for weeks to save up for a bike and finally got one.

Easter Day Clips

Easter

Easter was kept super simple.
We just got the kids each some new pj bottoms, a couple new family games, and candy and did an in house egg hunt.

Becca still hidden in bed when the other kids found their Easter Bunny surprises.

Jonah came over and got a haircut.
And Charity decided to get a haircut too. Leaving Anna and Eden as the only children not to get one.
Here is Charity’s before photo.

She was definitely not pleased with the result.
So she insisted on her after photo showing how she felt about it!
