Some things

The new dance term began this week and I am really excited about my classes and enjoying them a lot already.
Sherod and I attended Stephen’s Meditation class this morning.
It was beautiful.

Then we drove by our old childhood home.
It was on Sunset Ave near downtown Bakersfield. It was the home I lived in from 1st-5th grade. It was kinda freakin awesome. And haunted.

And, Sherod made the top, front page story of the Bakersfield Californian! I am so proud of him!

Steve practicing his yoga.

I got to run the music for Nutcracker auditions.

My baby fell asleep the other day on the couch.

Went on a hike the other day with Sherod that was great!

Met a few new friends at our first book club meeting.
They’ve named the club “Between the Wines” :)

School Starts in person for the first time in 17 months!

Day before 1st day, at Meet the Teacher.

First day of the 4th and 6th grades!!!

Celebrating Charity’s 12th bday

Since Charity’s birthday is on the 2nd day of school, and she didn’t want to miss the 2nd day, she asked if we could celebrate early.

She got this projector and we went shopping too.
She picked out new clothes and jewelry.
We went to Rosemary’s met some friends for treats.

And we went to a trampoline park.

Becca’s 18th Birthday

Becca decided she wanted a trip to Hollywood for her birthday.
Mostly to see the LA Philharmonic perform.
So we spent 24 hours down there.
We did a little shopping, out to eat, and touristy stuff.

We also went up to Griffith Observatory.
Which has always been one of my favorite things to do in the LA area.
The kids were duly impressed.

The concert was at the Hollywood Bowl.
This place was such a great venue and we had a wonderfully memorable time.
