A couple of days before Christmas we took the kids to a lovely shopping center in Austin, to walk, see lights, get gelato, and just hang out together.
This is the tree Christmas morning. We only decorated the tree this year with lights and candy canes. As you can see, not many candy canes made it out in tact by Christmas morning, as kids were eating them.
Our humble stockings and gifts haul.
Becca's band Christmas performance. They did so well!
Below the band director had the students stand who made it to District and Region Band tryouts. Becca is standing off center to the right.
Charity, Sam and Hana decorated this gingerbread house together.
Charity sometimes leaves me cute notes to come home to Monday nights. I get home late from teaching and she is often in bed when I get home.
Hanging out with friends during a game night. The Virgins and the other families they invite are always fun to hang out with!
A little bloody, but this is Sam right after we managed to get a tough to pull tooth out.
This screenshot was from Hana's Instagram. Her and Addison had a cupcake decorating contest.
The kids at a yogurt shop.
Becca at the yogurt shop. We were celebrating her making it to Region Band!
Celeste's short story was published in ACC's bi-annual "Rio Review".
And she read part of her short story at the book's release party!
On Dec 1st most of the family participated in the Georgetown Christmas Stroll. Becca with the EV Band marching in the parade.
And me, and Steve, Andy, Hana, and Charity walked in the parade for GDP.

Love my Dance Moms!!
And we had a performance at the Stroll too. A lot of our community service students performed and I was super proud of them. But it was so satisfying to see how proud they were of themselves too!
And that evening with had a little recital just for our Company Dancers. 3 of them are missing from this photo. Wish we could have had them all there for this. But it was such a nice evening. And they did a fabulous job performing.
