This week
The weather this week was sooooo nice! Yesterday and today it was 75 degrees and tomorrow is supposed to be close to 85 degrees. I am in HEAVEN! This is my kind of weather. Steve is loving it too. It is nice for the kids to be able to play outside too. The days are longer than we are use to during a Winter and the warmth always makes me think it is not Winter. In fact, I had this weird moment this week when I thought for a minute that it was the end of February and we were about to go into March. It is tripping me out.
Last night I took Andy into Austin to see the Harlem Globetrotters. It was a lot of fun.
He was so stoked to have gotten 7 autographs on his sweatshirt!

Becca First Chair
Look who just got assigned as "First Chair" for the flutes in band! Just for a little perspective, she use to be the 11th. There are about 15 flute players.
Titans
Andy is really really enjoying basketball and it has been so fun watching him grow as a player and person. He and his teammates are such good friends too. The moms and boys and families are like one big happy family. It is awesome.

Mary Poppins
This weekend Jonah and Eden had their Mary Poppins performances. They were part of the chorus and got to do a few minor roles. The play was so well done and we were so impressed with the talent of these kids at Arts Avenue!
Eden sent me this photo during the intermission from backstage.
Eden is the chimney sweet second from the left.

Austin Aquarium
Yesterday for Family Fun Day we went to the aquarium. A long time ago I had bought Groupon tickets for the whole family to go. This week I was looking at my Groupons and noticed that this one was about to expire. I also realized that the Groupon was not just tickets, but a "Birthday Party for 10." So I scheduled our "party" and we went yesterday.
It actually was a lot better than just tickets. We had our own guide who showed us around, and he also brought out animals just for us to touch and hold. He was a nice guy.
He also gave us a bunch of tokens to get food to feed fish, and other animals there. So that was nice.
And we left with goodie bags and tickets for free admission later. Not a bad deal!
