The Dentist

I took ALL the kids to the dentist yesterday.  I thought Charity looked so cute on the table being examined, so I had to take a picture.  Only 2 cavities among all those little teeth in all the kids!  That is a huge success!

Just a little about this girl...
She is always hungry for attention!  Besides our baby, she probably gets photographed the most of all our kids because she's always begging to.  And who would argue that a baby needs to be photographed as much as humanly possible?  She also likes being videoed.  I thought I would include this video she made after she finished cleaning and organizing her room.  She wanted to show it off.  It was cute.

The Family Toy

All the kids (and parents) are obsessed with Sam.  They love to play with him, dress him up in silly clothes, photograph him, and sit back and giggle at him.  

The other day Celeste put HER clothes on him and just rolled up his pants to where the knees of the pants were.  

 Then she put his bow tie on.  This time he wasn't amused.

 He's always getting posed for photos too.  We all just love this kid.

Babies and toddlers are such a blast.

Family Fun Day at the Gardens

We love going to the gardens so very much!  This place is like a heaven on earth!  

We had such a wonderful time there together at our last Family Fun Day!

Mommy's Little Mess Maker

Sam is officially two and making his kind of fellow toddlers proud.  He is such a messy kid!!!  

The other day I needed to take a quick shower.  All the older kids were at school.  So I gave Charity some crayons and coloring paper, and Sam had his toys.  I plopped them in front of the TV in my room, while I tried to get clean, fast!  When I got out, Sam said "I mess."  I thought, "I figured...What this time?"  In lightning speed, he had found some oatmeal in the pantry and ripped it open and spilled it all over my bedroom floor.  The floor that I had literally vacuumed just 10 minutes prior.  

Later in the day I was cooking dinner, and he did the same exact thing, but in the office.  This kid is a fast mover and he takes quick advantage of any chance to make a mess.

Samuel turns 2!

 Today was Sam's 2nd birthday.  I can't believe how fast that went by.  I am somewhat sad to see my caboose baby growing up.  I almost think I would be happy to have a perpetual baby for the rest of my existence on this planet.  

 He is such a joy to all of us in this family.  He's adorable, and smart and strong.  I feel so blessed to have him with us.  He will always be my miracle baby.

My Mom in the Sacred Grove

Dad sent us this photo today of Mom in the Sacred Grove.  Thought I'd include it here.  They are on their way out to take Emily and Rob's moving truck to them in Connecticut.

Saturday

 Yesterday some of us went to see Tucker play in his football game.  Isn't he adorable in that uniform?!

 Then, for Family Fun Day, we pulled up the couches, set up a TV/DVD player, popped a bunch of popcorn, ate a lot of treats, and watched a movie together.  It was simple, but fun.
