Yellowstone & Grand Tetons

We're currently driving home from a nice little trip to Idaho Falls, Yellowstone National Park and Grand Tetons National Park.  We left Thursday night and now it's Sunday afternoon.
Waiting to see Old Faithful spew.
Cool!
We saw lots and lots of bison.
Yellowstone is huge.  It takes several hours to drive through it all.  But it's pretty.
Hiking on Uncle Tom's trail to see Upper Falls.
Somewhat treacherous!
Upper Falls.
More hiking.
Lower Falls.
Gawking at buffalo.
Look mom!
Dragon's mouth.  Peeeyuuu.
We also really loved the Grand Tetons!
We took this spectacular hike up to Phelps Lake.
Watching the woodpecker peck.
The whole time hiking to the lake and for about 30 minutes or so at the lake we never saw another human.  It was so beautiful and we felt like it was all there for us.
The water was very cold.  But we all dipped at least a little bit of our bodies in.
A few people got all the way in.  Here's Celeste dipping her head in.
We saw some people on the hike back and got them to take our photo.
This hike was our favorite part of the trip by far.
