Our weekend
I just had to post this photo that Andy posted on his Instagram account. Eden fixed him up as "Andrea" and of course all the kids thought this was insanely funny. I didn't find it funny until I remembered doing this exact thing to my little brother Andy when I was a kid and calling him "Andrea" too.
For FFD yesterday we toured the county courthouse and the Williamson Museum.
It was actually a lot more interesting than I expected.
Not too interesting to Andy apparently.
They told us the story of how that very room was the first time members of the KKK were successfully prosecuted in the US. Interesting story!
After the museum we went to lunch at one of our favorite places, Hat Creek.
Then we went to Andy's basketball game. And this time Steve coached the team.
He did a fantastic job! Only 5 members of the team made it so they all had to play the entire game.
And they were playing a good team with older kids. This team beat their team badly a few weeks back and hadn't lost to any of the other teams before. So we were totally the underdogs.
Well, this game was epic! Our boys won! And we have never seen Andy play like he did at this game. He was amazing. He did some plays that blew everyone away. I wish I had recorded video of it.

Presidential Library
Today for FFD we went to the Lyndon B. Johnson Presidential Library on the University of Texas campus.
They currently have a Beatles exhibit going on that drew us there.
It did not disappoint.
Jonah is a legitimate fan like his mom.
He even wore one of his Beatles shirts for the occasion.
Sam and Charity loved trying their hand at the drums.
The rest of the exhibits were more interesting than I had anticipated. The kids had a good time.
Sam and Charity kept talking on the phones they had throughout the exhibits.
These random strangers asked to take a photo with Charity. Actually, they didn't even ask, I just caught them trying to get her to pose with them. This has happened to us several times and Charity just takes it in stride like she's some celebrity.
Planking.
Replica of the Oval Office.
Andy taking a photo of the skyline in Austin.
Hanging out on the pretty campus.
Perfect hill for a rolong race.
Jonah actually asked me to take a photo of him. He has been doing so well lately.

Steve's Work
I cannot emphasize enough how awesome Steve's work situation is! His office was built, I believe, the second week we were in Texas. The electrical work was done a couple weeks later. But the interior finish work was not done until about a week ago. So this was our first week having him out in his office full time. And we love it! He has his own dedicated space to work and is left alone by kids and distractions. And I don't need to keep the house quiet while he takes calls. Yet he is still at home. The backyard to be precise. He has a nice setup. He has a light, fan and A/C unit. He even has a mini fridge! We had some sound proofing done too to help eliminate noise like dogs barking and kids playing outside. He is really happy with it.
We don't miss his sometime hour long traffic commutes. And the kids and I are so happy to get to see him more. He eats breakfast lunch and dinner at home and I can run out and see him whenenver I am missing him. It is so fantaistic!
Fab Five
I like this photo Anna posted on Facebook. I am posting the screenshot of her post just because I liked her caption. But I also wanted to put up the photo itself. I sure love my siblings.
