Berry Springs Walk
As we are getting ready to move, I have been getting a little sentimental about my two most frequent "walks" I took while we lived here. 1- Berry Springs, and 2- The border to our neighborhood.
These are photos from my walk at Berry Springs yesterday, and around our neighborhood today. I loved this time of year in Texas!
See the crane I saw at Berry Springs in photo above.

Charity 3rd grade awards
Today during the 3rd Grade Awards Charity received the following awards: Art Show Selection, Academic Achievement Award, Music Award, and the T.E.A.M. Mitchell Award, which only one kid per classroom receives! Mr Wilkins LOVED Charity this year in his class, and Charity LOVED him. He was an awesome teacher, and Charity was an awesome student.

More Eden in England
Eden sent us these great photos today. And I am including her text so you can see her description of the photos.
Sentimental
I have these hanging on a hook in my bathroom right now. We are currently packing up and preparing to move and I want to take photos of sentimental little things like this that are special to me.
Because they are special to me, but not enough to pack and keep them all. Like all of these great pieces of art from my kids. :)
This weekend Hana is in Abilene TX with her friend Addison and their family. I got this photo from Addison's mom. So sweet. Hana keeps saying she wants a baby. And I keep saying NOT YET!

Pool party
Javi Alvarez graduated high school and we were able to come to the family celebration of him at their neighborhood pool. We love all of these dear friends of ours. They feel like family.

Eden Leaves for the UK!
This first photo was of Eden the day before she left, and it was also her last day of school! School was still in session for another week and a half, but she was able to get permission to get out of it. She came in that morning to my room to tell me it was her last day of school and was so excited and happy! And she wanted a photo too, which was super cute.
Packing for her trip to the UK.
At the Austin Airport. She had a direct flight leaving May 21, from Austin to Gatwick airport outside of London. I took her to the airport and helped her get all checked in and set up.
Fun side note, she bought this outfit at Goodwill a couple of days before she left. She loved this outfit, so she wore it on her last day of school, then wore it again the next day when she was leaving for England. But she wanted it clean first. So she washed it, but didn't have time to let it dry all the way, so her outfit was wet in the airport. This caused a little bit of concern at security, so she had to get a pat down check.
She texted us at 3:19am, so let us know she had arrived safely. We were super super sad to see her go. For us, we'll miss her terribly. But we were of course also really proud of her for the awesome kid she always has been and how she worked hard for this trip and planned and took care of it all herself. Even saving all the money and booking everything and getting jobs, etc. She is just amazing! She was super excited herself! And a little nervous about it all.
And since she arrived on Tuesday, we have been able to talk to her via facetime or texting or calls a few times. So all is well and good and she is having a good time and doing well!
