Recent happenings

My last dance Zoom class of the Spring term.

Becca on a little hike with Rudy. He sent me this.

New painting from Eden.

Jonah had us all gather together so he could do an important step in his recovery. It was moving, and we were all proud of him for his work. He is trying really hard to live his life better. And we’re all supporting and hopeful for his future.

Another social distance get-together at the Alvarez yard.

Charity’s hermit crab that she decided to rehome.
We suck as pet owners.
Paisley spent the day with us to celebrate her 10th bday.
She and Charity have been besties for a few years now.
They hadn’t seen each other since maybe Jan/Feb. so it was fun for them to spend time together again.

Steve took the kids to Berry Springs.

With Covid, we have tried to keep our distance as much as possible. But lately we have allowed ourselves and the kids to have a little reconnecting again. The emotional toll of isolation is something that we have felt. So it is something we have been sensitive to and mindful of as a family. Living in a pandemic is such a strange change and definitely a challenge. But these moments of reconnecting have been a nice reprieve.

The other day we got to go out on the Findley’s boat.
This was our first time with them since Jan or Feb too. The Harwards came too. We have missed these couples so much!

Becca and Sam found an injured bird that we took in to an animal rehab.
