Sam had a great birthday. I took him on a mom date. We shopped at Target where I couldn't get him interested on buying anything really except for a bag of candy and some Caprisuns. Not even big, fun toys! So I took him to the dollar store and he spent $14 on junk and was thrilled. 
After that we went to Chuck e Cheese's. He had so much fun playing games and was trying hard to earn lots of tickets for prizes.
His face has so many different cute expressions he makes. I love them all.
We had the Matsons over for dinner where we roasted hot dogs, chicken kebabs, and smores in our extra little wilderness backyard area.
It was Tait's birthday the day before, so we clebrated them both.

Sam also had his first day of preschool. He was soooooo anxious to go and just kept asking when it was time to go. And leaving him he didn't seem anxious at all.
