Snout by Snoutwest

 

For Family Fun Day we went down to Snout by Snoutwest. It is like a dog convention. It was fun getting to bring Sonic along. They took free family photos of you with your dog.  :). Cessie didn't come with us. They had a doggie splash area. And gave away all kinds of free goodies.  

 

As we were leaving, and heading out to lunch, I noticed Sam was wearing Jonah's underwear as shorts. And they were backwards. We all thought it was pretty hilarious. He thought it was humiliating.

Sam the Cat

Sam did not want to dress up for Halloween. His school dressed up days early for some strange reason. Anyhow, I kept trying to ask him what he wanted to wear for Halloween and he would not have it. Finally this morning, I told him that all the other kids in his school are going to be dressed up and he might be embarrassed not being dressed up. So he said "I wanna be a cat!" This kid is obsessed with cats. It is really weird! He likes to watch random cat videos on Youtube. He is like a miniature creepy cat lady. So right before school I hurried and used a Sharpie to make whiskers. Then I got a headband and covered it in black fabric, wadded up that same black fabric and glued on ears. (Hot glue guns are the best.) I gave him a fur vest that someone had given us a year ago. And grabbed a pair of my black tights, cut off one leg, and stuffed it with paper towels, and pinned it on his bum for a tail. He was so cute and excited.

Then he got to school and one of his fellow classmates was also a cat.
They had a cute parade.

Sam wanted to go to work with me yesterday. So I let him. It is the class that Charity takes and Hana is my assistant in. He did a good job and it was soooo cute!
Hana is the best teacher assistant! We have 4 Teacher Assistants at the studio and she is the youngest one. She is amazing with kids and they love her so much. I have been super proud of her.

So when we did family photos a couple of weeks ago, I also got my picture taken. I had gotten a Groupon for Glamour Shots for about $20 and they do your hair and makeup. I got it only so that they could do my hair and makeup for family photos. They told me to bring in outfits to change into, so I decided this might be a good opportunity to get photos for my personal training business. And I threw in some dance ones for he heck of it.

Our Week

 

I was sitting in the entry room putting on my shoes, when I noticed something hanging from the trash can in the corner. This is what it said:

 

 Andy has been playing football this season, so he decided against doing cross country at the same time. The cross country team started practicing together and competing at the beginning of the school year. But a couple of weeks back, the cross country coach approached Andy at school and asked him to go with them to their race that afternoon. So he did. Amd then she asked him again last week. And again for their final meet this week. He did well! We were proud of how well he did without training in that particular sport and event.  

Sam was missing in action around dinner time one day this week. And this is where he was found. I love that the bear is in the same position as him.

Charity lost her third tooth. Such a cutie!   

We took the kids out to lunch at Hat Creek, then to Lake Georgetown today. The weather has been amazing this week!
