Exploring Georgetown

Well, today was a great day!  I kept telling the kids that once all the work was done with moving in, we could go do something fun.  Our moving trucks were very delayed.  We didn't get the second one until 4 days ago even.  We have been here for 11 days.  And after all the painting and getting flooring replaced, we didn't get all unpacked and things put away until yesterday!
And so today we finally got to go have some fun.  And since today is also a special day, I wanted to celebrate.   Today is our 4 year "Gotchya Day" anniversary.
This is the kids at a really fun candy shop called The Sweet Tooth.
We went to downtown Georgetown and walked around to explore.  Downtown is such a fun and charming place!  We browsed a couple of shops, went to the Visitors Center to get some good ideas for future outings, and had lunch at Burger University.  People here have been so friendly and kind to us.  One of the employees at the restaurant even came and sat with us to chat and get to know our family.
This is Jonah and Eden taking a selfie.
When Jonah realized I was taking a photo too, he smiled for me.  And Celeste protested being in the shot while she ate.
We went to the library, which was pretty impressive.
It was a great time.
