REALLY good news!

It's true. Not a ploy people.
Steve got a job!!!!! It's with a company called Fusion IO. Don't ask me what they do because every time he's explained it to me, it's gone way over my head. But it's genius related. Anyhow, we are super excited and grateful. He starts Tuesday! Plus the pay is pretty good too.
BUT, (there's usually one of those "buts" involved isn't there?) it is a contract job. No benefits. He will be on contract for 6 months, and if they like him, they hire him for good. Sounds good enough to me.
Yippee! We are off to celebrate.

You guys should go to the Olive Garden or something, you know, fancy like that.

Either there or Famous Dave's BBQ. Just complain about the service and your food will be free. ::wink wink at Amy::

Congrats!!

YAY GRATS!!! Contract work and no benefits stink, that's what we're dealing with right now but yay for the chance to be hired, I mean who wouldn't want to hire him????

A big congratulations from us, too! What a relief! The no insurance is kind of crummy, but if you could deal w/ it for six months, of course they'll want to hire Steve! Good pay is for sure a bonus! We're so happy for you guys.

I am so happy for you. I am sure he will get hired on full time in six months then you can celebrate all over again. That is the way to go. Maybe a shorter contract renewed every month, and you guys would actually have kind of a date thing going.

I'm just glad he got a job so you can start hinging out with me and not him.

hinging? :0)

Yay!! Being employed is nice. We like it because we like to eat from time to time and to sleep indoors most nights.

We're on contract, too, so we hear ya there, but it's still better than nothin'. And, they would be stupid to NOT make it permanent. You tell them I said that. :0)
